Black bear

Black bears are often hunted for food, with the hides being a byproduct. Some places in the US and Canada have such a large population of bears, it’s quite easy for resident hunters to get a bear tag. 

Bear fur is often thick and quite soft, depending on when the animal was hunted. It makes for super warm fur products! 

Black bear is listed on CITES appendix II (EU annex B). All black bears come with proof of legal import into the EU. CITES papers for commercial trade available. Black bears are not available for export outside the EU. Orders from non EU countries will be refunded.
