Collection: Burgundy fox

True Burgundy foxes are quite rare, with most brown pelts labelled as Burgundy actually being Fawn Glows or a mix of colors.

The Burgundy fox population was very inbred when it was first discovered and it never really recovered to a healthy population of unrelated animals. Burgundy foxes are not in demand in the fur trade, causing further decline in their numbers. Nowadays, only people with a passion for rare fox mutations keep these animals.
