A lifesize mount of a ringtail cat (Bassariscusastutus).The pelt was imported from the US. The mount was professionally done in January 2026, the pelt has been tanned with Rittels EZ tan so it’s 100% preserved and protected against insects.
The pelt did suffer some damages, which are shown in the listing pictures. There is damage in the form of a natural scar on the nose, as well as some bald spots on the ears. To the back of the animal there is a larger hole. The chest has a smaller hole. Everything except the scar on the nose is barely, if not at all, visible due to the way the animal was positioned. The price reflects the damages.
